Federal Deli is right next to the Depot, both across the street from the Sky Tower. 

The place is a diner, American style, but vintage. The girls wear cute frocks and aprons uniform. The kitchen is open space. 

They have a lot on their menu. Take aways up the front. The ugly bagels. Canadian poutines. Bottomless coffee. 

T and I got Montreal poutine, Clam cioppino and Matzo ball soup. The Clamp broth was so good!! Also loved the Good George sparkling ale, so refreshing. 

I wish I'd come here when I was really hungry, because I'd really wanted to try the best ugly bagels, as well as a Reuben sandwich. Maybe next time. Here or NYC? Whichever.
