This place is amazing on a clear day. It would probably be awesome on a clear evening as well. It was our last full day together and we weren't sure where to go. The pressure to make everything as perfect as possible! A suggested this place, because it was the only place out of our three shortlisted eateries to which I hadn't been. An old favourite or a new place? A new place, it was.

Walk up the stairs next to Velvet Burger on Fort Street and the first thing that meets your eye will be a white claw-footed bathtub. Not for you, but for the climbing greens to rest their feet on. The inside is spacious enough, but of course you would want to head out instead. The sun is shining, enjoy the warmth while you can.

A small gourmet vege pizza and hot chicken risotto filled us up fine (unfortunately they had run out of duck meat, boohoo), with a taster's glass of rosé. I wish it'll be proper rosé weather soon, fresh green salads with cherry tomatoes and cheese shavings and other lovely spring-y things.
