Léon: The Professional (1994) Luc Besson

Natalie Portman's debut film, with Jean Reno.

This film is famous for its Lolita component, but it's more than a love story between a man and a little girl.

Leon is a boy inside a man's body. He only drinks glasses of milk, cares for his best friend the plant, and (presumably) belives in Virgin Mary. He watches classical American musicals.

But he also leads another life, behind his round coloured sunglasses.

Leon is a cleaner, a hitman. When Mathilda's family is murdered, Leon reluctantly takes her in. She wants revenge. He doesn't really know what to do with her.
Mathilda sees the pure side of him, and helps him to grow up. I cried watching this movie. T-T So sad...
