Turning and Tossing

Friday, March 04, 2016

I am over tired but my eyes hurt to slide shut and my brain keeps spinning, unable to find the slow-down-it's-time-to-rest switch. Plus, my right lower back is hurting like crazy, forcing me to do a lie down dance - on the back, on the side, on the other side, foetal position. Turning and tossing. Ending up in a diagonal with my arms up folded above my head. That's somewhat better. For now.

It's always difficult to wind down without the familiar deep breathing lump next to me. Soothing music, YouTube videos. A bit of Kindle reading. Back to the frustrated turning and tossing lie down dance. Sigh.

The week seems to go so slowly from Monday to Wednesday, then suddenly it's Friday. Thank goodness.
