The last catch up dinner in Sydney took place in this wonderfully psychedelically bright Mexican place. I am so glad I got to know El Topo, with its awesome interior decorations. It reminded me of Melbourne in a way, with its open roof eating area. Too bad the weather on the day wasn't the usual Sydney hot.

After being greeted by the happy pink wall of skulls, we got down to business by ordering soft shelled tacos and quesadillas and tortilla chips. I loved their tacos de jaibas y jalapeno and platanos fritos. The staff were kind enough to cater specially for my vegan friend, and, seriously, if I hadn't already drunk too much the night before, I would have delved into their margaritas menu.  

Why can't we all have our living rooms decorated this way? We'd all become so much happier then.
