Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, lovely people!
How time flies, but how I have longed for the end of year holidays!
I hope you take the next few days to spend time with your loved ones. Call them if they cannot be physically with you! Make sure you turn on the camera on, if you have the option. It's so so important to be able to see each other's faces as well as hear each other's voices in a long distance relationship.
Take the time to reflect on what 2015 had meant for you, and which people had made your 2015 a better one. I have so many. 2015 was the year I got to spend quality time with my parents and sister, our first in a long time. 2015 was the time I got to reunite with old friends, revisit old home cities, explore new places, and make more memories with great people. 2015 was the year I decided to go back to New Zealand, my home, to settle down for a while, after city hopping in Australia and Europe.
I know, I know, this is Christmas, not the New Year's eve, and 2015 is not over yet for another week. It's still a good time to start, because that's what all of December is about: a time of reflections, a time for giving thanks, a time for bonding with lovely people over too much food and being in a happy state of joy and food coma.
From 1 Dec until Christmas eve, as I've opened up one window after another of my Advent calendar, I've given silent thanks for having come back home, being a healthier self, being in a happier relationship. I'm determined to have a great end to the year, to enter 2016 with open arms.
I hope you have jazzy Christmas carols swooning your emotions in a great ball of warmness all over inside, as I have!
Merry Christmas!
