Coffee place: Moonbean Coffee Company

'Where are the best coffees in Toronto?' I asked.
'Moonbean Coffee Co in Kensington Market. It's also close to your hostel,' Q said.

Just like that, Moonbean Coffee Co became our first stop on our first day in Toronto, after a rather uncomfortable night at the Pearson International Airport. We made turns here and turns there, then another.. oh, it's just here!

The cabinets are full of cakes and there's coffee in front of you, behind you, menu board stuffed with offerings. A little overwhelming when you are not so sure of the coffee selections in Canada in general, but I am glad Moonbean had been my initiation session, because this is definitely one of the best cafes I went to in North America.

Back home each coffee is made to order, but in North America batches of brewed coffee seems to be the norm. There are several blends to choose from, to your liking. Sister especially enjoyed their rich chocolate cake. Yum, a good start to the day and to Canada.
