Went to the Modern Arts museum with D in the afternoon, and found new artists that I like. One is Modigliani, an Italian born artist who worked mostly in France, but died young due to illness and poverty at a young age. The above painting of a woman with blue eyes is a little scary, but I like his illustrative style and use of colours.

Another painter I liked was Raoul Dufy, who was born in Le Havre. His paintings are colourful and dream like, similar to my other favourite, Marc Chagall :)
