Two movies in a day

Flatmate got angry over the French movie we watched at French club this afternoon, the Class (Entre les murs, 2008, Laurent Cantet), a docu-style semi-autobio film of a teacher of a yr 9/10 class of troubled kids. She was mad at the way the teacher handled some of the incidents, saying he wasn't adult enough. I was more shocked at the way the kids were behaving, I would have lost it if I had been the teacher myself!

At night a few friends came over for drinks and we watched another movie, the Oxford Murders (2008, Alex de la Iglesia), where a professor and a student tries to solve a potential murder mystery with mathematical symbols in Oxford school. Even though interesting, there were too much dialogue which could confuse you if you weren't really taking attention, and bits of random unnecessary romance storyline and sex scenes were distracting at times. For all that, there are lots of twists and turns in the plot that keeps the interest fairly up.
