Melbourne: Queen Victoria Market
Wednesday, August 21, 2013
Queen Victoria Market is a huge place. There are meat and seafood indoors, delicatessen and dairy products, and a foodcourt. The frech produce and general merchandise such as clothing are outside under the roof. In August markets stay open til late, I hear.
Again, like in Europe, because we don't have this is NZ. Not to this scale in any case.
There are cheese everywhere, I love it. Gorgonzola for mum she couldn't find in Christchurch - too expensive anyway. So going to go to Farmers' markets for my fruit and veges from now on!
