Breakfast place: Wise cicada

Wise Cicada is a heaven for the healthy conscious. Bio, organic, cafe, grocer, bookshop, offline, online, it's a bit of everything.
Due to its everythingness, it doesn't look the most appealing on the outset, I know. But the deeper you delve into its spaces, the more intrigued you get. Most items are on the higher side than in your average supermarket. There is a price we pay for choosing healthier options, it seems. However, I have managed to find a few that are actually a bit cheaper, like some of the seeds.
A and I stopped by for our brunch the other day. We were drawn to the pretty cabinet goodies, but then chose from the menus instead. The breakfast bowl was on the huge blackboard menu overlooking the counter, as was the berry coloured smoothie. The smoothie had strong mint taste with a hint of ginger. The breakfast bowl was very generous, especially after the cacao wheat flour pancakes we had just had. The pancakes looked quite overwhelming, especially with its coconut butter and yoghurt, but they were actually quite good. Also very filling. We really shouldn't have gotten the breakfast bowl with it.
Perhaps the next item on my Wise Cicada list would be a Kombucha.
