There's always a crowd around Rice Noodle Lover during lunchtime blocking the entrance to the office building. I have always been curious to know what the fuss was about, but never got around to it until this week.

Firstly, I am not a noodles fan. Secondly, my lunchtime is too precious to have to waste half of it waiting for the food to come out.

But my curiosity got the better of me, also because I have been somewhat bored with the usual options in the proximity. Timidly I went up to the counter. What would you recommend? Simple spicy noodles with no meat was offered and I accepted, somewhat hesitant. There are many on the menu with peanut butter in the noodles that sounded unusual therefore more exciting than just some plain spicy noodles, but those said peanut butter noodles did not come in soup forms. I wanted some soup, so spicy noodles, it was.

Mild spicy is still too spicy. My glasses would not defog and my face was treated to a steam session. So hot. So spicy. Too much noodles. One day, when I have someone to share it with, I might go back for a peanut butter option.
