Toronto: Kensington market

Wednesday, May 28, 2014

Kensington market is my favourite part of Toronto, by far. Not only because it was close to the hostel we were staying in, but also for its maze of op shops, food shops, cafes and wine bars, and the quirky community it attracted.
Many of the buildings were colourful.
There were tourists, young people, families, and lots of dogs.
Close to Chinatown, some parts of Kensington market did not seem the most 'safe' place to live, however. Not all of them, though.
I wanted to buy every other book in this food-related bookstore.
