Taco place (otra vez/again): Mexico

Thursday, August 16, 2012

Back again, this time with C for late dinner last night. It wasn't as crowded, thankfully, because it was raining outside and we didn't want to wait around for long. We started off with sangria - tinto y blanco.
Tacos of the night were:
Abodo fish, with watermelon and watercress slaw, to go with the white sangria. I really liked this one, think it may be the favourite so far. Adobo means marinated.
For the red sangria, a red meat taco:
Caramelised pork carnitas, plantain chips, pico de gallo. The meat was a bit chewy.
This was for our second round of orders, Mexico's specialty fried chicken with two sauces. They were quite spicy, but really nice.

Each of the dish came freshly made, still quite hot, and even though small in size they were surprisingly filling. Only two more taco choices to try out now! :)
