Dinner place: Kura Japanese sake bar

Reunion with some of my high school friends! Even though some of them live in Auckland, it's hard to find time to meet up, what with uni and work and all. Tonight we had lunch at a Japanese place, on the way to Upper Queen.
I had come to this place one night three years ago, when A took me here, one windy night. It was fully packed, so unfortunately we couldn't stay (it was okay though, because we had a fantastic tapas dinner with sangria at the fancy Bellota restaurant at the Sky Tower, instead), but I've been eyeing this place ever since.
You have to go down a steep set of stairs into this cellar type of place, where all the waiters greet you in Japanese.
We had an assortment of tempura,
and nigiri. I love nigiri. I would love to go to Japan for no other reason than to have real sushi, haha.
