Flatmate and I went to a jazz concert for a bit of a culture trip. It was a concert put forth by some of the music students from uni. Having come from an orchestral background, with my violin, I have always been quite envious of the loud and carefree-ness of jazz bands, and at times I regretted having chosen violin, over, say, continuing on with piano, or even a double bass.

The actual big band concert was after a guitar class recital and before a jazz choir. The jazz band was the most exciting for me, but all three were pretty good.
