Crocodile in the beach

Monday, April 05, 2010

K, M and I went to a beach that is special to me, but they weren't as enthused about it as I was, and instead wanted to go to the museum nearby, so I was a bit annoyed. Finally we got to the beach, but it was already too dark to really take pictures. Light again, I'm swimming. I can see J in the distance to the far left. The current comes from the left to right, and with it a baby creature which I point out to M. It's a baby crocodile. The adult croc comes toward me. At first I have a backpack with which to distract her, but not for long. She swims towards me. We all start swimming frantically towards the end of the lane pool with all our strength, I don't care it I look stupid, hoisting myself out of the pool with my almost too weak arms and swinging othe my legs along, also. I want to live. I am safe. I am awake.
