Back to the cold and dreary

Wish I was back in sunny Sydney, despite the heat.
Caught the cold in the wet weather we have fallen into, yet again.

Feeling chronically tired and my head heavy all the time, made a pot of vin chaud to make myself feel better, soon, hopefully.

Vin chaud, or mulled wine, is really easy to make, and so good to warm yourself up when you've got the cold. Just add a cup of cheap red wine, two cups of water, slices of an orange, a tablespoon of sugar or honey, also some cinnamon sticks and cardamon pods and cloves if you want (I didn't have any so didn't), to a pot. Bring to boil, then let it simmer on low for about half an hour. All done! Easy.

May the blocked nose and the seemingly blocked brain pathway be soon cleared up in time for uni with the red aromatic wine drink.
