Too salty

Sunday, March 26, 2017

A and I made lunch together today. He chopped the veges and I cooked the rice. When we put the two together, we accidentally added too much salt. I tend to like less salt than him but this was a disastrous amount. Apparently in German this means that we are very much in love but this was just too much!

Should we add cream? Butter? Potatoes sliced? Google told us that these could take the saltiness out like a sponge.

In the end we added more rice so instead of four servings we now have eight. At least it will serve as a base for whaever we will be having this week.

Better communication next time, huh, husband?
