Home is where my heart is

It's been ages since I've written on this blog, so this post deserves to be on a longish note.. But then it turned out to be too much pressure. I sincerely apologise.
What has passed outside of this blog since the last post, in a nutshell: Safely back from Paris, where A surprised me with a beautiful new ring. Settling in nicely at my new work, with people starting to recognise my face and name. Currently in the process of moving into our new home.
All within the space of two months! A and I are rather pleased with ourselves, though we haven't had time to sit back and savour it all properly, yet. Yesterday I woke up to find first strands of white hair as I was brushing my teeth. Upon closer examination, realised they were paint with which we had given fresh coats to the flat interior. No idea how it got there?
It's pretty awesome to have a place to yourself, even if only for a short while. I really wish we didn't have to share our flat with anyone - hope we will find nice people. Can't wait to finish unpacking and decorating so we can invite friends over!
