Lunch place: Zarbo
Wednesday, April 06, 2016
Zarbo is a spacious cafeteria for the grown up feel kind of place. Their vinegar tester selections next to the salads cabinet by the entrance have always lured me, especially on the way back from the nearby mall. Also nearby school teachers and office workers in suits like to hang out here, so why not try out some of their salads?
There are four different sizes to choose from for take aways, three for dining in. A fly kept wanting to hang out with the colourful range of salads. I went for pumpkin and beetroot with blue cheese and walnuts, but got way more beetroot than the actual pumpkin pieces. Topped the first salad with a second tuna ribbon pasta salad, and it was delish. Glad I had gone for the smaller sizing, because it was very filling.
Got a fright later in the evening because I was peeing pink. Blood? Am I still that sick? After a few moments of thinking, a sigh of relief - whew, no, it's just Zarbo's many many beetroots staining my inners.
