Seoul 3: ML

Seoul is a big city with so many places to go and things to do and see and eat! Since my Seoul experiences are not wholly representative of all that is on offer here, I've asked a few friends about their Seoul. Here are three random things Seoul means to them, be it everyday or on special outings. Let's check them out!

M came to Korea on a student exchange, like so many foreigners living in this country. Then he found an internship. Which led to contract work. Impressive!

His favourite Seoul areas are Gangnam and Hongdae; he is young and energetic, all the more so at night. Nightclubs are his sanctuaries and you bet he is on familiar terms with most well known nightclub bouncers here. One favourite bar of his is MIX, apparently quite popular, and not so cheap, but who cares about money when you have many mature friends who have heaps to spend? It's all about networking, and M is very good at it.

On days when M prefers silence, he goes to Bukchon for some noodles. The Chinese owner seems to be an illegal resident, but he sure cooks well.

Finally, M is a suave fashionable guy. Tall, dark and slim, with his large black leather bag over one shoulder and pointy black leather ankle boots, a little worn. French chic?! Unfortunately his size makes it a bit awkward when shopping in Seoul, but fashion isn't just about clothes and accessories. M tends to his curly top at Tony  & Guy in Icheon. Okay, so not really Korean, but hey, Korea is surely one of the few places in the world where straight guys take just as much attention to their fashion and hair as girls.

M has just recently finished his contract in Seoul.
Where M is right now. Looks so warm! I wish him all the best in the future. Stay safe, Kiwi pride!
