There is a bakery near Donguk University that has resisted change over the years. The interior, the bread, cakes and cookies they sell, along with the packaging, is so vintage that your grans and grandpops will feel nostalgic.
Of course I didn't really recognise many things because a. I am not that old, and b. because I haven't grown up in Korea, but it was still pretty sweet to enter this Taegukdang bakery and feel as if I'd been transported back in time.

I bought a few small treats for gran and indeed she said she used to eat a lot of them when she was younger. That's awesome.
