Fair Trade

Hi, I'm Viv, a recent French graduate.
I decided to join the Fairtrade Auckland Uni group as a personal project to do something - as opposed to just sit back but not take action - at uni before I left. It had to be something I could be enthusiastic about, and fairtrade coffee was it. I blog every day about café experiences around the city, which amounts to quite a bit of drinking coffees and hot chocolates. Helping the people that provide these daily concoctions for me seemed like a sweet idea. At the same time I am able to interact with a new set of very different people engaged in the one common goal of bringing fairtrade to uni. It's been fun to get together every week, planning, discussing, and actually doing something after hours of half-listening to lectures all day. I'm learning heaps and it's great :)
