Queenstown - Choco place: Patagonia

Thursday, March 01, 2012

Queenstown on the first day of our trip was quite gloomy and cold. We still found the town pretty with its deep blue lake and the dark green forest trees filled mountains surrounding the background - so different from the barren farm lands of Canterbury, my hometown and the light green hills of volcanic Auckland.

The next day the weather had cleared into a beautiful sunny day, without a cloud in sight. But in the morning we were still unsure.. After an hour long adventure jet boating along Shotover and Kawarau rivers, we took a short morning break in Patagonia, a chocolate and gelato place my sis loved. I got to try their lavender dark hot chocolate, which was warming and oh, so lovely... :)
