Italian place: Copperwood

Saturday, November 30, 2013

Another housemate night out, another Italian place on Lygon Street. We wandered past a few places and ended up here. I think the decor lured me in.
Cheesy bites and salty olives were our entrees.
Gnocchi for R. His gnocchi expert taste deemed the dish average. Meaty gnocchi is too dry, he reckons.
The seafood pasta, on the other hand, was not dry at all. Had I ordered a main, I think I would have chosen this. Or wished I had.
Not having been overly hungry, I went for Funghi al forno, a small entree dish. It was mushroom caps filled with chicken, on polenta and cream sauce. Yum and juicy.
