Coucou ! It's been a long time since I last saw L, and we had a nice catch up for brunch at l'Assiette in Britomart, just across the new Les Mills gym downtown. L'Assiette a new popular café/restaurant - and a real French one! The price is at mid-high range, but the atmosphere is really neat, suitable for both families with kids and friends alike. L and I both had their egg's Benedict with Hollandaise sauce. See how pretty it comes out! All their hot drinks come with a complementary Hershey's kiss - it's all in the details, see. We chatted about this and that, one year of absence is a lot of gaps to fill. I've been in France and she'd returned to her country Tahiti, you see. L is here on holiday for a few more weeks, so we are going to the movies just before she goes back again. She's also promised to introduce me to all her Tahitian friends living in Auckland, so it'll be awesome to get to know them and hopefully keep my French up too in the process ;) Bon dimanche !
