How I have wanted to try this place out! Been trying so many times, without success, either because they were closed (even though they open on Sundays as well) or because they were having private functions. They have one almost every night, it seems. C and I got in early on late Monday afternoon, ditching our assignments behind us for the night. We needed some down time. The new week had arrived too soon! Doesn't matter that this week is a short one, due to Easter, nor that we have two weeks of holiday afterwards. We will be working our ass off anyway, preparing for essays and tests due as soon as uni is back on.

At Imperial Lane, between Queen St and Fort Lane, we had our glass of Rosé and an apéritif of bread with duck liver paté. It was C's first time and she enjoyed it.

Next, we decided we wanted a cocktail, this time. Since Imperial Lane unfortunately didn't cater these concoctions, we hopped over to... where else? The Mezze bar. ;)
