Dinner place: Faro Korean restaurant
Wednesday, April 25, 2012
It was SA's 25th birthday and we celebrated it at Faro, a Korean restaurant on Lorne St, Auckland. I was impressed by the service and the presentation of the food. Also the clean, sophisticated interior.
Between the eleven of us we ordered an array of meat - marinated porks, sweet, and hot, chickens - which came with the set side dishes. There was plenty for everyone and we ate to our content until too full to move. It wasn't even expensive. We paid $21 each, I think. A good price for such a feast. I can't remember the last time I had a proper meat meal.
Part of the service was the barbeque-ing of the meat. A waiter came round to cook it for us, rotating between the two ends of our table. He was cute and friendly, haha! We had cakes after, then went for drinks at another place. Hope you had had a good night, SA :)
