Last Saturday I went to Versailles with my French buddy, H. I had waited five months to come here, and I am glad I did, because the weather was wonderful and the flowers were in bloom. Versailles was impressive in its scale and grandeur. My favourite part was the Hameau de la Reine, the little village of Marie Antoinette. It was so pretty, and quiet.. Though if I had been Marie Antoinette, I may have been bored of this little make believe corner of her life pretty quickly...
